UPCOMING EVENTS and FIXTURES

HOCKEY

The season has started with practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.30 pm until +- 7.30 pm and then compulsory drinks in the club thereafter until whenever!!!

The Ladies travelled to Durban on Saturday 14th for their first match on the Astro. Sheppy came up tops beating Harlequins 3-0. Then both men and ladies teams travelled to Kokstad on Sunday 15th to take on Kokstad and Matatiele. The Men beat Kokstad 5-2 and Matat 5-1. The Ladies however took a long time to wake up and before they knew it Matat had the better of them going down 3-2 (maybe it had something to do with the celebration of their Saturday win at Jaxx). By the time they took on Kokstad they were well and truly awake beating them 5-1 in a game which showed how well they can play this game.

Saturday 21st sees the Ladies taking on Rovers in Durban and then both teams travel to Scottburgh to play Scotties and Matat on Sunday.

Good Luck to all the players who are standing for Souhern Districts.
